Training System Evaluation
What’s the Study About?
We are currently recruiting counselors nationwide to evaluate an online training system
for the dissemination of empirically-supported treatments for alcohol abuse.
What’s Involved in Participating?

Participation in this study consists of two parts:

For the first part, the participant will need to complete
a baseline questionnaire. Participants will be randomized to one of two groups. The first group will be provided access to review the online training system
and the second group will be the control group and will not be provided access to the training system.
(However, this group will be provided access to the system once the study has been completed).

For the second part of the study, the Participants will complete an end-of-study questionnaire
What Do I Get from Participating?

Participants will be paid $50.00 for completing the initial assessments and $75.00 for completing the final assessment.
The payments will be mailed immediately upon completion of the required materials for each of these time points.
Can I Participate?
To enroll in this study, the participant must:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Currently (or plan to) provide counseling to clients with alcohol and/or other substance abuse issues.

Have Internet access

This study does NOT require an office visit. Counselors will be provided with all the materials needed to participate through e-mail.
